MLB Draft Order 2011: Boston Red Sox Have Four Of First 50 Picks

The 2011 MLB Draft is upon us, and the Boston Red Sox will be busy right from the start, owning four of the first fifty selections, including two picks in the first round, which begins on Monday night at 7 p.m. EDT (MLB Network).

The Pittsburgh Pirates have the first overall pick in the draft, and are reportedly set to select UCLA right-hander Gerrit Cole. The Seattle Mariners, Arizona Diamondbacks, Baltimore Orioles and Kansas City Royals round out the top five.

Boston's first pick comes at No. 19 overall, which they received as compensation from the Detroit Tigers for Victor Martinez. The Red Sox will pick again at No. 26 overall - a pick they received from the Texas Rangers for Adrian Beltre.

First Round: No. 26 overall (from Rangers for Type A free agent Adrian Beltre)

Comp. Round A: No. 40 overall (from Rangers for Beltre)
Second Round: No. 81 overall.
Third Round: No. 111 overall.
Rounds 4-50: No. 142 overall.
