MLB Standings: Red Sox Slipping Further Behind Yankees In AL East

The Boston Red Sox are starting to resemble the team that opened the 2011 season with a 2-10 record, having lost six of their last seven games - all of which came against National League opponents.

As a result, the Red Sox are falling further behind the rival New York Yankees in the American League East standings, sitting 2.5 games behind as of Thursday morning. Here are the complete AL East standings.
