The third game of a four-game weekend set between the Boston Red Sox and Detroit Tigers on Saturday night at Comerica Park has been postponed due to rain.
Saturday night's game underwent an hour and 25 minute rain delay after it started raining just after the scheduled start time, and it never let up.
As a result, Boston and Detroit will now play a day-night doubleheader on Sunday, with the first game beginning at 1:05 p.m EDT and the second game taking place on Sunday night at 7:05 p.m.
