For only the second time in 2011, Dustin Pedroia will be given the day off at second base Tuesday, with Drew Sutton filling in.
While Terry Francona has reassured media and fans that this day off was planned, it does come the day after Pedroia jammed his ankle rounding second base. Still, Pedroia is apparently alright, and is expected to return to his regular duties come Wednesday.
