Blue Jays Vs. Red Sox Lineups: Carl Crawford Benched As Sox Face Jays In Game Two

Carl Crawford hasn't exactly gotten off to a stellar start in a Red Sox uniform. In fact, you could call the start for Boston's new left fielder (worth $142 million, in case you hadn't heard) absolutely atrocious. Through 12 games, Crawford is batting a mere .137 (7-for-51) with zero home runs and one RBI. His numbers at the plate didn't get any better on Friday night in the Red Sox' 7-6 loss to the Blue Jays in game one of this four game weekend set.

Crawford, who went 0-for-5 with a strikeout and heard loud boos in Friday's loss, has been benched by Red Sox manager Terry Francona as Boston faces Toronto is game two of the series on Saturday afternoon at 1:05 p.m. EDT(TV/Radio: NESN/WEEI).
