Former Red Sox GM Theo Epstein Takes Out Full Page Ad In The Boston Globe

Theo Epstein has one final thing to say to Boston Red Sox fans. The now former general manager of the Red Sox took out a full page advertisement in The Boston Globe on Sunday, wanting to say one last thing before he departs for the Chicago Cubs. Take a look at this video from NESN.

The headline reads "10 Years, Two Championships, Countless Memories, Infinite Thanks" and the ad includes a personal letter from Epstein to all of the members of Red Sox Nation. Here's a short selection from the letter.

"It's been a privilege to be a part of the Red Sox for the last decade and an honor to work alongside some of the most talented and dedicated people in baseball. I'm proud of all we accomplished together. Thank you to our ownership group John Henry, Tom Werner, Larry Lucchino and their partners have a commitment to excellence that permeates through all levels of the organization and I'll be forever grateful for the opportunity they gave me for their unwavering dedication to winning."
