The company installing Fenway Park's new video boards acknowledges that Boston Red Sox fans are different than other MLB fans - they're hungry for the game's details, not rallying calls.
↵ANC Sports Enterprises is installing three video screens at Fenway Park - replacements at center field and left center field, and a new screen above the right field bleachers. The company told Commerical Integrator that the screens will have an emphasis on information, something Red Sox fans are eager for:
↵↵↵"Larry (Lucchino) wants a lot of data such as pitch counts. We’re figuring out the proper template for giving the fan the most important information at specific moments throughout the game. That’s what’s going to be important to the Red Sox fan."

The new right field bleachers screen will connect the existing Ford and Dunkin Donuts signs, and will feature statistical information. The left center field board will also feature stats. The 38 feet high by 100 feet wide replacement to the center field screen will be able to show many elements as well as be used as a large video board. The installation will be set for the start of the Red Sox 2011 season on Friday, April 8th.
