Matt Guerrier Reportedly Receives Offer From Red Sox

According to a report from WEEI (that we won't link here because the page is acting up), the Red Sox have made an offer to right-handed relief pitcher Matt Guerrier.

Guerrier, according to Baseball Reference, appeared in 74 games for Minnesota last year, notching a 5-7 record with a 3.17 ERA in 71 innings.

A seven-year veteran, Guerrier has spend his entire career with Minnesota and hasn't pitched in fewer than 70 games since 2006. He is likely one of the numerous relievers the Sox have made an offer to -- a group that includes LHP Scott Downs and LHP Brian Fuentes -- but probably one of the few right-handers to earn such a distinction.
