According to multiple media outlets, including Brian MacPherson of the Providence Journal, former Pawtucket Red Sox manager Torey Lovullo is leaving the Red Sox' system to join former Boston pitching coach John Farrell in Toronto.
↵Farrell, who accepted the managerial job with Toronto in October, is still assembling pieces of his staff, but Lovullo figures to be a big part in the process.
↵Lovullo has been a journeyman, both in his 12-year playing career and in his managerial career since. It appears as though he'll coach first base for the Blue Jays.
