According to a new report, Boston College's athletic department broke exactly even in 2010-11.
↵The Business of College Sports released on Monday a study on the most profitable athletic departments in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). The study shows that the Eagles athletic program made no profit last academic year.
↵Says writer Alicia Jessop:
↵"In 2010-11, four ACC athletic departments did not turn a profit: Boston College, ,Florida State, Georgia Tech and Wake Forest."↵
Juxtapose Boston College's lack of profit with that success of conference mate Virginia, who took in a profit of just over six million dollars last academic year.
