ACC Tournament 2012 Bracket Reactions: Boston College Fans Look Forward To Championship Game

The 2012 ACC Tournament is nearly at an end. On Sunday, the conference will crown a champion and lock down a slot in the NCAA Tournament. Although the Boston College Eagles missed out on their own personal Cinderella story, the championship game between the North Carolina Tar Heels and the Florida St. Seminole should still be an exciting one.

And of course, plenty of Boston area and BC fans will be watching, in the interest of good basketball. Brian Favat at Boston College blog BC Interruption is doing his best to look on the bright side.

If there's a silver lining to Boston College's early exit in the ACC Tournament and the end of the season, it's that we can now all enjoy the best week of basketball without a dog in the fight. It starts this afternoon, where the 23-9 Florida State Seminoles look to win their first ACC basketball championship as they face the 29-4 and top-seeded North Carolina Tar Heels.

Should Florida State pull the upset, the Seminoles would become just the second non-Duke, non-Carolina conference title champ in well over a decade.

It should be an exciting one, but it seems like we can all agree that at least Duke will not be involved.
