Boston College Football 2012 Schedule Announced On Monday

Boston College's football 2012 schedule was released on Monday afternoon, and the Eagles are slated to host Miami, Maine, Clemson, Maryland, Notre Dame and Virginia Tech at Alumni Stadium in Chestnut Hill, MA this coming season.

Boston College's football 2012 schedule was released on Monday afternoon, with the Eagle opening up the season with two straight home games, one against an Atlantic Coast Conference foe and another again a regional opponent.

The Eagles will open up the 2012 season with a home game against the Miami Hurricanes on September 1 at Alumni Stadium in Chestnut Hill, MA. The next week, BC plays Maine at home on September 8 before heading out on the road to face the Northwestern Wildcats, who they faced in the season opener last year, in its road opener on September 15.

After that, the Eagles return home to host the Clemson Tigers (Sept. 29) before heading out on the road for three straight games against the Army Black Knights (Oct. 6), the Florida St. Seminoles (Oct. 13) and the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (Oct. 20).

Following a home game against the Maryland Terrapins (Oct. 27), BC heads to Winston-Salem to face the Wake Forest Demon Deacons (Nov. 3) before hosting the rival Notre Dame Fighting Irish (Nov. 10) and the Virginia Tech Hokies (Nov. 17). The Eagles conclude the regular season against the N.C. State Wolfpack on Nov. 24.

BC is coming off a disappointing 4-8 season with a 3-5 mark in the ACC. In addition, the Eagles had a streak of 12 consecutive seasons of bowl eligibility snapped and was 0-2 against the Top 25.
