UPDATE: Kuechly Declares For NFL Draft

Boston College junior linebacker Luke Kuechly will announce his decision regarding his decision whether or not to enter the 2012 NFL Draft in a teleconference at 7:00 p.m. EDT on Friday night, according to a press release from the school.

Kuechly, a junior linebacker, has played three seasons at Boston College, amassing 532 career tackles which is both a school and Atlantic Coast Conference record. Kuechly led the nation in tackles last season, both total (191) and solo (102). In addition, Kuechly had a stream of 33 straight games with double-digit tackles snapped in BC's season finale.

As a result of Kuechly's hard work, he was awarded both the Bronko Nagurski Award (honoring nation's top defender) and the Butkus Award (honoring the nation's top linebacker). Also, Kuechly was named the recipient of the Lombardi Award as well as the Lott IMPACT Trophy, among other honors.
