Boston College Vs. Miami Final Score: Eagles Fall To Canes, 76-54

CHESTNUT HILL - Matt Humphrey's solid shooting performance wasn't enough to carry the Boston College Eagles to victory, as the Miami Hurricanes pulled away late in the second half to capture a 76-54 win on Sunday afternoon.

Humphrey finished with a team-high 13 points on 3-of-8 shooting and 3-of-5 shooting from the perimeter for Boston College, which was limited to 38.6 percent shooting from the floor in defeat. Ryan Anderson and Jordan Daniels each scored nine points and Lonnie Jackson had eight points for the Eagles.

Durand Scott paced the Hurricanes, scoring a game-high 19. Malcolm Grant added 16 points and Kenny Kadji had 14 points, seven rebounds and two blocks. Reggie Johnson finished with 12 points and five boards for Miami, which hit 42.9 percent of its baskets.

Boston College returns to action Wednesday when it hosts ACC foe N.C. State.
