Boston College Vs. Wake Forest Halftime Score: Eagles Trail 34-26

CHESTNUT HILL - Boston College reverted to its early season habits, missing a handful of baskets and turning the ball over early and often as the Wake Forest Demon Deacons carried a 34-26 lead into halftime here at Conte Forum.

The Eagles opened the game 2-of-10 from the field and fell behind by seven points, 11-4, five minutes in. BC was nearly able to bridge the gap midway through the period, cutting its deficit to five points, 20-15, at the 7:49 mark. The Demon Deacons closed out the half on a 14-11 run to maintain an eight point advantage at the break.

Travis McKie led all scorers with nine points and grabbed eight rebounds and Chase Fisher added eight points off the bench for Wake Forest, which made 13-of-29 baskets to shoot 44.8 percent. Ryan Anderson led the Eagles with eight points and had three rebounds while Dennis Clifford added six first-half points for BC, which shot 28.6 percent in the half.
