NFL Mock Draft 2012: BC's Luke Kuechly Projected To Philadelphia Eagles

Let the mock draft madness begin! Luke Kuechly, a junior linebacker from Boston College, is projected to be the No. 15 overall pick of the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2012 NFL Draft. Kuechly led the nation with 191 tackles (102 solo) in 2011.

Let the mock draft madness begin! With the new year already here, it's time for pretty much every sports site on the internet to release their projections for the 2012 NFL Draft. SB Nation is included, and they have released their 2012 mock.

Luke Kuechly, a junior linebacker from the Boston College Eagles, is projected to the Philadelphia Eagles with the No. 15 overall pick in the first round of the draft, with Ryan Van Bibber writing that Kuechly help fills a need for Philadelphia.

Blame Wide 9 from outer space, blame the high cost of free agent chemistry, blame the converted offensive line coach turned defensive coordinator, all of it deserves some scorn. The Eagles still need some help at linebacker, and Kuechly is the kind of middle linebacker that potential future defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo had in St. Louis with James Laurinaitis.

Kuechly had 191 total tackles and 102 solo stops to lead the nation in 2011 for BC. Kuechly has 532 career tackles in three seasons, both a school and ACC record, and was the recipient of the Bronko Nagurski award and the Lombardi Trophy, among other awards. Kuechly had a streak of 33 straight games with 10 or more tackles snapped in the season finale.
