After serving as the Boston College Eagles' co-captain in 2011, senior cornerback Donnie Fletcher will get to dawn his college colors one more time.
The Senior Bowl announced that the Eagles senior cornerback has accepted a bid to play in this years game. Fletcher will reportedly play for the North Team in the game that will take place in Mobile, Alabama on Jan. 28 at 4 p.m. Commenting on the matter was game president Steve Hale, who had nothing but good things to say about the Boston College Senior.
"We're excited to see Donnie perform in front of the NFL's top decision-makers here at the Senior Bowl," Steve Hale, the game's president and CEO, said in a release. "He's certainly earned this opportunity and we're confident he'll make the most of it." (via ESPN Boston)
As for Fletcher's draft stock, ESPN currently ranks him as the sixteenth best cornerback available in this year's draft with a 61 rating. According to Scouts Inc., Fletcher is considered a "good prospect" in this years draft.
