CHESTNUT HILL - Chase Rettig found Tahj Kimble on a well-executed screen pass for his first touchdown of the season from 31 yards out, and the Boston College Eagles lead the Duke Blue Devils, 7-0, at the end of the first quarter.
Rettig has thrown for 61 yards and one score on 4-of-7 passing for BC. Andre Williams has rushed for eight yards on three carries and Kimble has one catch for 31 yards for the Eagles.
Sean Renfree has thrown for 60 yards on 10-of-12 passing for Duke. In addition, Renfree has 13 rushing yards on three carries. Brandon Baxton has recorded four catches for 18 yards for the Blue Devils.
Luke Kuechly has recorded six solo tackles and is halfway towards extending his FBS-best streak of 10 or more tackles in a game to 25 straight games.
