North Carolina defeated Duke, 81-67, in the regular season finale to claim the ACC title on Saturday. The Blue Devils finished with a better overall record at 27-4, but were 13-3 in the conference. UNC finished at 24-6 and 14-2 in the ACC.
Florida State claimed the third spot in the ACC, finishing with a 21-9 record and an 1--5 mark in conference play. Clemson (20-10) and Boston College (19-11) were tied for fourth place, as both had 9-7 records in the conference.
Virginia Tech (19-10, 9-7 ACC), losers of its last two games against Boston College and Clemson, finished sixth in the ACC. Maryland (18-13, 7-9 ACC), Virginia (16-14, 7-9 ACC), Miami (18-13, 6-10 ACC), N.C. State (15-15, 5-11 ACC), Georgia Tech (13-17, 5-11 ACC) and Wake Forest (8-23, 1-15 ACC) round out the ACC standings, respectively.
