Boston University earned a No. 16 seed in the 2011 NCAA Tournament and will head to Tulsa, Okla., where the Terriers will meet the No. 1 seed Kansas Jayhawks in the Southwest Regional on Friday, March 18. Boston U. qualified for the big dance on Saturday, then they downed Stony Brook in the America East Championship game. It will be Boston U.'s first trip to tournament since 2002.
In Kanas, the second overall No. 1 seed, behind Ohio State, BU will be facing a team that finished 32-2 and won the Big 12 Championship game.
We probably don't need to remind you, but a No. 16 seed has never defeated a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament.
