2011 NFL Combine: Anthony Castonzo, Fellow OL Begin Schedule With Workout On Saturday

Wednesday was the first day players began arriving in Indianapolis for the 2011 NFL Scouting Combine, with Thursday's schedule including measurements, exams, the Wonderlic test and interviews with prospective teams. Workout drills begin Friday (and run into Tuesday), with the kickers and special teamers taking the field before the offensive linemen and tight ends, who will be on display on Saturday.

Two of those linemen are Boston College's Rich Lapham and Anthony Castonzo, the latter of which was officially measured Thursday at 6-foot-7 and 311 pounds. (BC's other participant, LB Mark Herzlich, arrives Friday and works out on Monday.) Castonzo also met with the media, during which he discussed his foot issues

"My left foot is a good inch and a half bigger than my right foot," Castonzo said, explaining an odd side effect of his growth spurt. "In high school I started buying two different sized shoes. Now I just wear 18′s [on both], so it works for me."

Castonzo, who received zero scholarships coming out of college, is now projected as a first-round pick in April's NFL Draft.
