Steven Daniels Commits To Boston College, Gives Eagles Country's No. 17 Ranked ILB

Boston College's 23-player 2011 recruiting class features four Rivals' four-star players: CB Albert Louis-Jean, TE Brian Miller, DE Connor Wujciak and LB Steven Daniels.

Daniels (6-0, 225) is an inside linebacker from Cincinnati, Ohio (St. Xavier) who committed to Boston College on Dec. 15. Rivals had him as the country's No. 17 ranked inside LB.

While in high school, Daniels totaled 82 tackles (14 tackles for a loss) and seven sacks as a junior, and then an impressive 34 tackles for loss and 18 sacks in 2010

Division I All-Ohio first-team selection...named to the Butkus Award watch list in 2010...chose BC over NC State, Texas A&M, Louisville, Pittsburgh, West Virginia, Minnesota, Illinois, Kentucky and others.

Daniels' high school, St. Xavier is the same school that produced BC's All-America linebacker Luke Kuechly. Along with Louis-Jean, Daniels is a four-star prospect who could make an immediate impact this fall.
