Under Armour All-American Brian Miller represents the cream of the crop on offense for Boston College’s 2011 recruiting class.
A four-star recruit, Miller is a local product out of Andover, MA. Ranked by Rivals.com as the state’s best recruit and the no. 9 tight end in the nation, Miller is a tall offensive threat who can turn big plays no matter where he catches the ball.
Despite receiving offers from other big-name programs like Michigan, Penn State, and Stanford, Miller chose to commit to Boston College in April 2010. In an interview with ESPN last year, the Andover product identified his familiarity with the school as a significant factor in his decision.
“I had taken a lot of unofficial visits there, been to the campus and met with the coaches and even the [athletic director],” said Miller. “Before recruiting even started I went to football games with my family. I just felt the most comfortable at BC.”
Now, with the recruiting process finished, it’s just a matter of time before Miller brings the athleticism, burst, and motor he showed in Andover to Chestnut Hill.
