CHESTNUT HILL - Charlie Coyle scored a power play goal and Yasin Cisse scored another goal late in the period as the Boston University Terriers took a 2-0 lead over the Boston College Eagles after twenty minutes in the second meeting of the season between the two bitter rivals at Kelley Rink inside Conte Forum.
Through four period of hockey this season, Boston University has outscored Boston College, 7-0. The Terriers posted a surprising 5-0 win over the Eagles in the first meeting of the season in early November.
Parker Milner made a highlight reel save midway through the period to keep the game within one goal at the time while BU goalie Kieran Millan, who hadn't allowed a goal in his last 182:48 on the ice entering Friday night's game, fended off a late rush from BC on a power play.
