Boston College Vs. Stony Brook: Eagles Lead, 28-11, At Halftime

CHESTNUT HILL - Boston College fell behind 11-6 with 11:50 remaining in the first half, but the Eagles scored 22 unanswered points to take a 28-11 lead over the Stony Brook Seawolves at halftime.

Stony Brook was 5-for-32 from the field in the first half (15.6 percent). Anthony Jackson was the Seawolves' leading scorer with three points. Dallis Joyner, Leonard Hayes, Al Rapier and Ron Bracey all had two points each for Stony Brook. The 11 points scored by the Seawolves were the lowest single-half total in Conte Forum history.

Patrick Heckmann, Lonnie Jackson and Dennis Clifford each scored six points for the Eagles, who made 11-fo-21 field goals to shoot 52.4 percent from the floor. Matt Humphrey and Jordan Daniels each had four points and Ryan Anderson added two points for Boston College. In addition, BC was 4-for-12 from three-point range and was 2-for-2 from the free throw line in the opening half.
