Luke Kuechly, the only bright spot on an otherwise bleak season for the Boston College Eagles, was one of only two players who were unanimous selections to the All-ACC First Team, which was released by the conference on Monday.
Kuechly, who was listed on all 45 media ballots, led the nation in total tackles (191) and solo tackles (102) and finished his career with a school-record 532 tackles, breaking the former record of 525 by linebacker Stephen Boyd with his second tackle in BC's season-ending win over Miami (Kuechly finished with nine tackles in the game).
While Kuechly is only a junior, many speculate that he will forego his senior season to enter the NFL Draft, where experts have pegged him as a possible top ten pick. Kuechly was a star right from the start at Boston College, and is also one of the smartest players that you'll ever meet.
