Boston College Vs. UMass: Eagles Trail Minutemen, 37-26, At Halftime

CHESTNUT HILL - Boston College opened up with a barrage of three pointers and led UMass, 16-8, in the early going, but the Minutemen used a 12-4 run to get right back into the game and ultimately took a 37-26 lead over the Eagles entering halftime of the Commonwealth Clash at Conte Forum.

Heckmann finished the half with seven points, Matt Humphrey scored seven points and Ryan Anderson had eight points and three rebounds at the break for Boston College.

Chaz Williams, the leading scorer for the Minutemen through three games this season, had six points in the opening half. Four players (Freddie Riley, Javorn Farrell, Jesse Morgan, Cady Lalanne) had five points in the first half for UMass.
