After one quarter the Eagles trail their rivals, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, 10-0 in South Bend. Boston College has won two of their last three games after going seven weeks without an FBS win, but entered today's contest as huge underdogs – by 24.5 points – and are already on pace to get blown out by the Golden Domers.
Quarterback Chase Rettig has completed three of six passes for 16 yards thus far. Running back Tahj Kimble has 22 yards on four carries. Notre Dame out-gained the Eagles 133 to 43 during the first quarter and Boston College already has two penalties for 25 yards. The game's only touchdown was scored by Jonas Gray on a 26-yard run.
