Boston College hosts the second annual Ice Jam, a celebration of BC basketball and hockey, on Thursday night at Conte Forum with a full schedule of festivities planned. The event is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. EDT.
In a unique event, the floor at Conte Forum will be split between the basketball court and the ice hockey rink. BC will be giving out 1,500 free T-shirts to students and fans that attend, and admission is completely free. Both the men's and women's ice hockey and basketball teams will be at the event, with ESPN anchor Steve Levy hosting.
The teams will take part in group skits, and there will be a three-point shooting competition and a hockey accuracy contest. For the students and fans, in addition to the T-shirts, there will be interactive fan contest, a $1,000 cash prize for the best student halloween costume and a chance for one student to win tuition.
Check back with SB Nation Boston throughout the evening as we bring you pictures and videos of the action from Conte Forum. If you're in the area and are a Boston College graduate or fan, definitely make your way over to join in on the fun.
