Boston College Vs. Virginia Tech Final Score: Hokies Dominate Second Half, Wins 30-14

Boston College struck first and went into halftime with a surprising 7-6 lead over the twelfth-ranked Virginia Tech Hokies in Blacksburg, but Virgina Tech turned it on in the second half, outscoring the Eagles 24-7 en route to their seventh win of the season. The loss drops Boston College to 1-6 and leaves them without a win against FBS school this season.

After a mistake-free first half Boston College turned the ball over twice during the second half. BS quarterback Chase Rettig finished the game 13-30 for 181 yards, two touchdowns (one rushing) and one interception.

With five semi-difficult games remaining, will Boston College finish the season without a win against a FBS opponent? Next week they travel to Maryland to face the Terrapins before they return home to host Florida State and North Carolina State. They finish the season on the road, at Notre Dame and at the Miami Hurricanes.
