CHESTNUT HILL - Laurent Rivard scored a game-high 11 points in the first half as Harvard took a 33-29 lead over Boston College into the break on Wednesday night at Conte Forum.
Keith Wright scored eight points and Kyle Casey added five points for the Crimson. Reggie Jackson led Boston College with 10 points. Corey Raji scored seven points and Joe Trapani added five points for the Eagles.
Boston College opened the game on a 12-4 run and held a 22-15 advantage with 10:29 left in the first half. The Crimson responded with an 11-4 run to tie the game at 26 on a free throw with 4:37 remaining before taking a four point lead into the intermission.
Boston College made 11-of-21 shots and 4-of-6 three pointers while Harvard connected on 9-of-24 field goals and 2-of-8 threes.
