Boston College Is No. 9 Seed In SB Nation's Newest Bracketology

Boston College (11-3, 1-0 ACC) is a ninth seed and one of five ACC teams that is projected to in the NCAA tournament in the latest SB Nation NCAA Bracketology.

The Eagles are currently projected to face UCF, which is a No. 8 seed, in the West bracket, meaning the game would take place on either March 17th or 19th.

Naturally, Duke (13-0) is a one seed after steamrolling the competition through the first part of the 2010-11 season. North Carolina (9-4) is a No. 7 seed while Miami and Florida State are both No. 11 seeds.

The Big East leads all conferences with a whopping ten teams projected to go dancing in March. The Big 12 has seven teams projected to make the NCAA tourney while the Big Ten had six projected teams.

Connecticut, which fell to No.8/No.9 in this weeks AP Top 25 Poll and ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll, is a No. 3 seed. Other local teams in the hunt include Harvard and Vermont, both of which were departures from this week's bracket on SB Nation.

To the south, Rhode Island and Providence were two of the 13 teams who were considered for this week's bracket, but did not make the cut.
