Duke (13-0, 1-0 ACC), which defeated ACC foe Miami (FL), 74-63, on Sunday, joined Boston College (11-3, 1-0 ACC), Florida State (11-4, 1-0 ACC) and Virginia (9-5, 1-0 ACC) at the top of the ACC men's basketball standings.
The Blue Devils, who were the unanimous top choice for both the AP Top 25 Poll and the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll, take a break from conference action to face the UAB Blazers on Wednesday at 7 p.m. EST.
Boston College is coming off of an impressive 85-70 win over SEC opponent South Carolina on Saturday. Prior to that, the Eagles lost a heartbreaker to Rhode Island, 67-65, at the Ryan Center in Kingston, R.I. The Eagles host in-town rival Harvard in their next game on Wednesday, at 7 p.m. EST.
Florida State lost to Auburn 65-60 in its last game on Monday, while Virginia is coming off of a 64-50 win against LSU.
North Carolina (10-4), N.C. State (9-4), Georgia Tech (10-4) and Wake Forest (6-8) have all not yet faced an ACC opponent.
