Duke (13-0), Ohio State (14-0) and Kansas (13-0) are once again at the top of the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll this week, with the Blue Devils receiving the top ranking and all 31 first-place votes. The Buckeyes and Jayhawks were ranked second and third, respectively.
Syracuse (15-0) moved up one spot to No. 4 after Connecticut (11-1), which was ranked fourth last week, lost to No. 5 Pittsburgh (13-1) last Monday. San Diego State (15-0), Villanova (12-1) and each moved up one spot to No. 6 and No. 7, respectively. No. 8 Missouri (13-1) moved up two spots from last week and No. 10 Purdue (13-1) also moved up one spot.
Boston College (11-3), which received 17 votes in the AP Top 25 Poll last week, did not receive a single vote in either poll this week. The omission is not much of a surprise, as a 67-65 loss to Rhode Island blemished the Eagles' record.
No. 24 Vanderbilt (11-2) and No. 25 Cincinnati (14-0) joined the Top 25 this week after being unranked one week ago. Baylor and Wisconsin, which were ranked No. 23 and No. 24, respectively, dropped out of the rankings this week.
