Boston College Vs. Florida State: Reggie Jackson Struggles, Eagles Trail Seminoles, 29-27, At Halftime

Reggie Jackson had his worst half of the season, scoring three points on three free throws and missing all five of his field goals (0-of-4 3PT), yet Boston College only found itself down by two points, 29-27, against ACC rival Florida State entering halftime.

Jackson did not score his first point of the night for 19 minutes and 59 seconds. With one second left in the opening half, Jackson buried three consecutive free throws after being fouled on a deep three pointer.

Joe Trapani scored 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds, keeping the Eagles in the game. Corey Raji scored five points and Dallas Elmore added three points in the first half for Boston College.

Florida State's offensive attack was extremely balanced in the first half, with six players scoring at least three points. Derwin Kitchen and Michael Snaer each scored five points for the 'Noles. Bernard James, Okaro White and Jon Kreft all had four points for FSU.

Neither team was able to find its stride from the floor all throughout the first twenty minutes. Boston College made 9-of-25 field goals (36%) and 4-of-14 threes (28.6%) while Florida State made 11-of-26 shots (42.3%) and 3-of-11 baskets from beyond the arc (27.3%) in the opening half.
