NCAA Bubble Watch: Boston College One Of Nine ACC Teams

Boston College (13-4, 3-0 ACC) is one of nine ACC teams that is on the bubble, according to SB Nation's NCAA Bubble Watch.

The Eagles currently lead the ACC and boast a 2-1 record against Top 50 teams. Still, that isn't enough to guarantee Steve Donahue's team a spot in the big dance, according to Chris Dobbertean of SB Nation.

Boston College Eagles* (13-4, 3-0 ACC; RPI: 31; SOS: 33)
Even with losses to Yale, Harvard and Rhode Island, the Eagles are in decent shape, thanks to a 2-1 mark against the top 50. However, with all of those games taking place in Orlando over Thanksgiving, the Eagles need to keep winning to ensure those wins mean something. This week: at Miami (Sat.), Virginia (Wed.)

Joining the Eagles on the NCAA bubble watch are ACC foes North Carolina (12-4, 2-0 ACC), Florida State (12-5, 2-1 ACC), Virginia Tech (10-5, 1-2 ACC), Clemson (13-4, 2-1 ACC), Miami (11-5, 1-1 ACC), Maryland (11-5, 1-2 ACC), N.C. State (11-5, 1-1 ACC) and Virginia (10-6, 1-1 ACC).

Georgia Tech and Wake Forest will only be able to reach the NCAA tournament if they run the table in the ACC tournament, according to Dobbertean.

Duke (15-1) is the only ACC team listed as a lock for the NCAA tournament. The Blue Devils are currently ranked No. 1 in both the AP Top 25 Poll and the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll, but that will most likely change following their first loss against conference opponent Florida State.
