Boston College Vs. South Carolina: Eagles Leading 44-31 At Halftime

Joe Trapani led all scorers with 14 first half points on 5-of-9 shooting (3-of-4 from three-point range) as Boston College took a 44-31 lead over South Carolina into halftime.

Biko Paris scored 11 points, Danny Rubin and Corey Raji both had six points and Reggie Jackson added five points in the first half for the Eagles.

Boston College shot 51.5% from the floor (17-of-33) and made 9-of-17 three pointers in the opening half.

Bruce Ellington, the Gamecocks' leading scorer, led the team with 11 points entering the break. Ramon Galloway scored seven points off the bench and Brian Richardson totaled five points in the first half.  

South Carolina struggled offensively in the first half, making 12-of-28 field goals (42.9%) and 4-of-14 threes (28.6%).
