Boston College's football team has landed a former Miami recruit with local ties.
↵Albert Louis-Jean, a 6-foot-1 safety, was previously slated to play for a Randy Shannon led Miami squad, but decommitted when Randy Shannon was let go by the school. Louis-Jean is from Brockton, MA and played for Brockton High. According to ESPN Boston, he had over a dozen Division I scholarship offers. Scout.com reported Louis-Jean's commitment to the Eagles late Monday.
↵SBNation's BC Interruption welcomes the addition to BC's secondary:
↵↵↵"Landing Commits ALJ could instantly give Spaz a defensive playmaker in the secondary. BC's 2011 recruiting class now includes four safeties (Louis-Jean, Josh Keyes, Ameer Richardson and Spencer Rositano) and a cornerback (Manny Asprilla), but ALJ is easily the most highly touted recruit of the bunch."
