Boston College (8-2, 1-0 ACC) sits atop the Atlantic Coast Conference standings after its 79-75 win over Maryland (7-4, 0-1 ACC) on Sunday in the ACC opener for both teams.
The Eagles, who are riding a five game winning streak, are off until Sunday when they host Bryant University at Conte Forum (3 p.m. EST). After that, Boston College hosts Bucknell on Wednesday, December 22nd at 7 p.m.
Florida State (7-2, 1-0 ACC) and Virginia (6-3, 1-0 ACC) join Boston College at the top of the standings. The Seminoles topped Clemson (5-4, 0-1 ACC) 75-69 in their ACC opener while the Cavaliers triumphed over last-place Virginia Tech (5-4, 0-1 ACC) 57-54.
Duke (10-0), which is ranked first in both the AP Top 25 Poll and the ESPN/USA Today Coaches poll, has not yet faced an ACC opponent. The Blue Devils open their conference schedule against Miami (7-2), which also hasn't faced a conference foe, on January 2nd.
North Carolina (7-3), NC State (5-3), Georgia Tech (5-4) and Wake Forest (5-4) also have not opened up their ACC schedules.
