Joe Trapani became the 38th player in school history to score 1,000 points in his career. The senior forward reached the historic milestone on a two-point jump shot with 15:15 left in the first half. For his career, Trapani now has 1,001 points.
This marks the second time this season that Boston College has had a player reach 1,000 points. Trapani's teammate, Corey Raji, achieved the feat earlier this season, scoring his 1,000th career point in the Eagles' win against Holy Cross.
Boston College currently leads Maryland 11-7 with 14:21 left in the first half.
