Virginia Tech, on the strength of their 28-21 victory over Georgia Tech on Saturday, moved up four spots in the Week 11 AP Top 25 Poll to No. 16 in the country. Just like the USA Today poll, the Hokies are the lone representative from the ACC.
Florida State, No. 24 a week ago, dropped out of the top 25 after their loss to North Carolina.
Miami (39), UNC (20), and FSU (6) all received votes. UCF is the new No. 25 team, with 74 points.
Oregon remains the No. 1 team in the country, while Auburn jumped up from No. 3 to No. 2. TCU is the new No. 3, while Boise State, after beating Hawaii, dropped two spots to No. 4. LSU is up seven spots to No. 5 following their win over Alabama.
