Boston College Bowl Projections: East Carolina Accepts Bid For Military Bowl, Setting Up Possible 'Dominique Davis Bowl'

New, 1 comment

If Boston College does not end up flying across the country to play in the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl, then it is likely they'll be staying much closer to home as a participant in the Military Bowl Presented By Northrop Grumman, where if selected, they'd face East Carolina. The Pirates accepted a bid on Monday

It's already been nicknamed the "Dominique Davis Bowl" -- Dominique Davis is the junior quarterback at ECU who spent two seasons with the B.C. Eagles (2007-08). And the ACC reporter for the News & Observer, J.P. Giglio, projects that's exactly what we'll get

The Dominique Davis Bowl (against East Carolina) and the shortest trip possible for a BC fan base that has a chance to prove it can sell bowl tickets.

The Military Bowl is played at RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C., on Dec. 29 (2:30 p.m.).
