All-ACC Team 2010: Montel Harris, Luke Kuechly And Anthony Costonzo Recognized By Conference

Boston College running back Montel Harris, offensive lineman Anthony Costonzo and linebacker Luke Kuechly were all named to the 2010 All-Atlantic Coast Conference first team, the league announced on Monday. Additionally, offensive guard Thomas Claiborne was selected as an honorable mention.

Harris, the only unanimous first-team selection, was the top vote getter, earning 122 votes from the 61 members of the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association. The junior RB rushed for 1243 yards on 269 carries (4.6 ypc) and scored eight touchdowns. His average of 104 yards per game was 16th best in the country, and tops in the ACC. Harris was forced to sit out the season finale at Syracuse after tearing his left lateral meniscus in the third quarter against Virginia the week prior.

Kuechly, who was also named to the AFCA All-American Team on Monday, led the nation with 171 total tackles and 102 solo stops.
