Boston College Vs. Texas A&M: Eagles Lead Aggies 33-28 At Halftime

Joe Trapani scored eight of Boston College's first 14 points and the Eagles took a 33-28 lead over Texas A&M into halftime in the first round of the Old Spice Classic in Kissimmee, Florida.

The Eagles opened the game on an 11-4 run and built the lead up to 10 midway through the half. In the final 10 minutes, the Aggies pushed back into the game and cut Boston College's lead to one at 29-28. However, two unanswered baskets from Boston College put the Eagles in control at the break.

Reggie Jackson also scored eight points for Boston College, making 3-of-6 shots, including 2-of-3 three pointers. Biko Paris and Corey Raji each had five points and Josh Southern added four points for the Eagles.

Nathan Walkup led all scorers with 10 points for Texas A&M. David Loubeau and Khris Middleton each had seven points and Marshall Carrell and Ray Turner both scored two points for the Aggies.

Boston College made 12-of-23 shots (52.2%) and connected on 7-of-13 three pointers (53.8%). Texas A&M hit 10-of-25 shots (40%) but missed all six of its three point attempts in the opening half.
