The Duke Blue Devils host the Boston College Eagles Saturday afternoon looking for a third straight win, which would be their longest win streak of the season, and match their best stretch from a season ago.
After defeating Elon of the FCS in Week 1, Duke dropped six straight, including four Atlantic Coast Conference games. The Blue Devils righted the ship two weeks ago, edging Navy, 34-31. Duke returned to conference play last week and pulled off the upset against Virginia, outlasting the Cavaliers in a high-scoring game, 55-48, getting the winning score on Desmond Scott's 35-yard touchdown with just 40 seconds left.
Now, the Blue Devils welcome the Eagles to Durham, with both teams riding two-game win streaks and still clinging to slim hopes of six total wins and a bowl invitation.
