After taking a commanding 34-10 lead into the third quarter, North Carolina State added another touchdown on Russel Wilson's six-yard touchdown pass to Jarvis Williams, giving the Wolfpack a 41-10 advantage with 14:00 left in the fourth quarter.
Wolfpack kicker Josh Czajkowski connected on another field goal, his third of the day, this time from 32 yards out with 8:00 remaining to give N.C. State a 44-10 lead.
Backup quarterback Mike Marscovetra put the Eagles on the board for the first time since the second quarter, heaving a 66-yard touchdown to Alex Amidon to cut the N.C. State lead to 44-17 with 5:55 left to play.
Unfortunately, that was the last hurrah for Marscovetra, who threw an interception to Brandon Bishop with 1:57 left in the fourth quarter, sealing the 44-17 victory for the Wolfpack.
With the loss, Boston College dropped its third straight game and falls to 2-3 (0-2 ACC).
