Eagles Vs. Wolfpack: C.J. Wilson Helps N.C. State Pad Lead In Third Quarter

Boston College received the ball after kickoff, but couldn't do anything with it. After Montel Harris rushed for no gain, Eagles' sophomore quarterback Dave Shinskie threw an incomplete pass and was sacked, forcing Boston College to punt.

North Carolina State scored the first points of the second half when C.J. Wilson intercepted Shinskie and returned it 29 yards for the score to give the Wolfpack a dominant 34-10 lead with 10:08 left in the third quarter.

Eagles head coach Frank Spaziani had had enough after Shinskie's interception, bringing in fellow sophomore quarterback Mike Marscovetra to take the snaps for the remainder of the game.

The change didn't matter, though, as neither team was able to score after Wilson's pick six, and North Carolina State took a 34-10 lead into the fourth quarter.
