CHESTNUT HILL – Boston College free safety Wes Davis was taken off the field on a stretcher and taken away in an ambulance after going down hard with under five minutes remaining in the third quarter.
Trainers initially brought the cart over, but paramedics used a stretcher to take Davis to the ambulance.
Play was halted for around 10 minutes as paramedics and trainers dealt with Davis’ injury.
Davis reportedly waived his hand when he was being taken away. Check back for updates on his condition.
