Brandon Bass has reportedly re-signed with the Boston Celtics for three years and $20 million (via CSN NE).
Bass had a number of other teams interested in his services, but still chose Boston. He averaged 12.5 points and 6.2 rebounds in 31.7 minutes per game last season. Bass became a starter when Jermaine O'Neal had a season-ending injury. In the playoffs, Bass averaged 11.1 points and 5.3 rebounds per game and helped the C's during their run to the Eastern Conference Finals.
Bass' agent Tony Dutt said about the deal, "This is where he always wanted to be. So it was just a matter of getting it done which was something both the Celtics and Brandon felt pretty good about making happen." Despite the other teams interested in Bass, Dutt said that the "Celtics were always his first choice."
