Keyon Dooling Signing: Celtics, Dooling Reportedly Agree To One-Year Deal

Boston Celtics guard Keyon Dooling has reportedly agreed to a one-year contract with Boston, according to his agent Kenge Stevenson (via WEEI). Dooling's contract will be for the veteran minimum of $1.35 million. Dooling signing at that level leaves the $1.96 million bi-annual exception open for the Celtics to use.

Dooling has played in the NBA for 12 seasons and has averaged 7.0 points, 2.2 assists and 1.3 rebounds per game. Last season with Boston, Dooling averaged 4.0 points and 1.1 assists in 14.4 minutes per game. He appeared in 46 games, starting twice. Dooling also appeared in 20 playoff games for the Celtics and averaged 2.8 points in 10.6 minutes per game.

Dooling gives the C's plenty of depth at the guard position and he also serves as the Vice President of the NBA Players Association.
